HOW TO SECURE DIVINE GUIDANCE (6)

HOW TO SECURE DIVINE GUIDANCE (6)

When we eventually secured the property we had trusted God for, the money we had saved up was not enough to pay for it. The first thing I did was to play music and dance before the Lord.  As I danced before him, I told him, “Lord, I desire we pay for the property without touching our savings”. What a request. The Lord responded and instructed on what to do. We had more than enough in 72 hours. Joy secures his voice.

When the three kings first showed up to see Prophet Elisha, the atmosphere became tense. Things escalated really fast. The issues he had with the King of Israel were a trigger for the prophet.

II Kings 3:13-14 NKJV

[13] Then Elisha said to the king of Israel, “What have I to do with you? Go to the prophets of your father and the prophets of your mother.” But the king of Israel said to him, “No, for the Lord has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab.” [14] And Elisha said, “As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, surely were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would not look at you, nor see you.

In order to restore that atmosphere, Elisha requested a harpist. As the harpist played, the hand of the Lord came upon him and he gave the word of the Lord to the kings.

II Kings 3:15 NKJV

[15] But now bring me a musician.” Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him.

Once you access divine direction, you will realise that what you are agitated about is actually a simple matter.

II Kings 3:18 NKJV

[18] And this is a simple matter in the sight of the Lord; He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand.

If you are weighed down by life and its burdens, you will never be able to enjoy divine direction.

If you have a song in your mouth in an unusual season and stay in the gladness of your heart, you will have access to the voice of the Lord that provides guidance and destroys opposition.

Isaiah 30:29 NKJV

You shall have a song as in the night when a holy festival is kept, And gladness of heart as when one goes with a flute, To come into the mountain of the Lord, To the Mighty One of Israel.

This is the next thing you will enjoy:

Isaiah 30:30 NKJV

The Lord will cause His glorious voice to be heard…

Isaiah 30:31 NKJV

For through the voice of the Lord Assyria will be beaten down, As He strikes with the rod.

Joy takes you into the frequency of divine guidance. God inhabits our praises.  When you are joyful, you speak his language.

If the enemy steals your joy, your signal becomes lost, and direction is distorted also.
