THE HOLY SPIRIT- YOUR PARTNER IN BUILDING A GREAT MARRIAGE 10

Sometime in 2018, the Lord gave Irewamiri a word about my ministerial journey. I got into a perfect alignment with that word in 2022. We were with my Spiritual Father when she expressed her joy about how I finally came into alignment with that Word.

She was not permitted to tell me that word, yet she had to wait patiently for four years to see its fulfilment. How did she cope with four years of waiting for the fulfilment of the word and the manifesting of God’s will? She trusted the Holy Spirit.

Truth be told, there are things we are just both seeing well and doing accurately in our tenth year now. We always say to each other, “What if we have allowed the differences to pull us apart?” We would always say to one another, “We have really grown”.

That is where the Holy Spirit comes in. He comforts you till you see the change and shift you desire in your spouse.

John 14:26 KJV

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

While waiting for the manifestation of your desire, you will have peace. There will be calmness. Your heart will not be troubled.  The fear will be dispelled. He will bring you into the much-deserved rest.

John 14:27 KJV

[27] Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

If you boycott the Holy Spirit and you decide to take the “bulls by the horns”, you will soon realise that regrets of doing it in your strength are far heavier than the pain of waiting.

All you need to do is ‘Ask Sarah’, you will then realise that haste produces Ishmael while patience and leaning on God gives you Isaac. A lot of marriages today have the wounds of hijacked processes.

I pray strength for you to wait till the change you desire to see comes.
