STAY IN JOY NO MATTER WHAT (4)
When a nursing mother in the church noticed that Mum spends her day in the church office, she approached her with a ‘strange’ request- she wanted to leave her baby with Mum when she goes to work.
Mum loves children, but she was bothered about how tough it might be watching over a baby when she could not see. The nursing mother prevailed. Mum took on this new challenge. She would make the dough for bread very early in the morning and bake at dawn. She would resume in the church office around 7.30 am and babysit till about 2 pm while doing other tasks.
Well! After a short while, another nursing mother approached her. The babies became two.
You will lose the strength to take on new challenges whenever you run out of joy. When the devil succeeds in breaking your spirit, he then moves on to alter your day. Never allow him to succeed!
Proverbs 15:13 KJV
[13] A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: But by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.
If he ever plants sorrow as a pilot of things in your life, he will keep you grounded with lies when you have all it takes to fly. If he hijacks the flight in midair, he will change course and land in a strange location.
Do not operate under a defeated atmosphere. Refuse it! Declare loudly: I refuse to operate under a defeated atmosphere. In a defeated atmosphere, you are blind to opportunities. You see it as a burden.
Proverbs 15:15 TPT
[15] Everything seems to go wrong when you feel weak and depressed. But when you choose to be cheerful, every day will bring you more and more joy and fullness.
Refuse that feeling of weakness. Refuse that feedback that tells you that you cannot. Do not let the devil rob you of God-prepared opportunities.
You have the capacity for more. Stay in joy, and your opportunities will not look like opposition.
Do you know my mum could have looked at that nursing mum and felt like she came to ridicule her? That is how people who are robbed of joy process things. That thought did not cross her mind.
When you are joyful, your perspective is right! May you see clearly.
