“DREDGE THE STREAM”
My spiritual father shared about an experience during the construction of their first church building project. It was a faith project. The land was swampy, and they needed to do some hardcore work on the ground before the building commenced.
At the foundation phase, there was a need to fill the foundation. They began to fill it up, but the number of truckloads needed was quite high. He came to the site and began to pray, seeking the face of the Lord.
The Holy Spirit said to him, “Dredge the stream”. There was a stream right on site. They got some labourers to dredge the stream. The filling sand they got was enough for the project. They saved a huge cost simply because he went to ask the Lord for help.
I insist that the greatest hack of all time for the believer is “Holy Spirit, Help me!”. We have help around us, but we want to use our heads and rack our brains to crack every code. Thank God for intelligence, but thank God for Spiritual Intelligence.
Beloved, Jesus Christ introduced the Holy Spirit to us as a helper.
John 14:16 ICB
I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper. He will give you this Helper to be with you forever.
You have “hacks” from him when it is most essential. What are hacks? Holy Ghost Assisted Codes for Kingdom Living. When you say someone is anointed, you are simply saying they have supernatural help for a thing or an assignment.
John 16:8 ICB
When the Helper comes, he will prove to the people of the world the truth about sin, about being right with God, and about judgment.
You do not have to live to prove a point when you are helped by the Holy Spirit; the output and fruits of your access to Him are the proof you need.
When it is going on well, simply say, “Holy Spirit, help me!”
When it is not going as planned, simply say, “Holy Spirit, help me!”
Creation cannot happen without the Holy Spirit. We saw that in Genesis. Understand that creativity is unlocked at new levels when you have the help of the Holy Ghost.
Lean on His help even though you are skilled. Lean on His help even though you are strong.
You will see supernatural exploits.
There is a height you can see when standing. There is more you can see when carried.
Let the Holy Spirit carry you. Yes to prayer! And yes to power! And yes, to productivity at new levels in all areas.
You have help that does not get tired of helping. Why are you tired of asking?
