YOU DO NOT HAVE THE LATEST INFO

Around 3 am that morning, I woke my wife and said to her, “Our travelling plans just changed. We head straight to so and so place”. I told her I picked that impression just now as I prayed. She agreed. Upon arrival, it did not take up to an hour to know why the Lord spoke to my heart about it.

Friends, in your dealings with God there is no wisdom in arguing. Follow through with His instructions. You do not have the latest update. You are limited.

Can you imagine that Ananias was arguing with God when God spoke to Ananias as regards Saul? God told Ananias to go to a street called Straight and inquire for a man called Judas and seek for Saul. Ananias began to speak to God about the profile of Saul so that God can get to understand.

The conversation sounds like, “God I do not think you know Saul. He has been tearing down the church. And by the way, we have the latest update that he got an authorised letter to come to Damascus and persecute believers. Did heaven miss out on that update?”

God’s response is instructive. God said, “I have chosen him as a special vessel to bear my name before Gentiles, kings and the children of Israel”. Ananias had to keep shut and follow through the instructions of God.

Friends, you are not smarter than God. The best you have about people is where they have been and where they are. Trust me, only God knows where they will be. And as a matter of fact, that is what you should be eager to know.

When God told me that Irewamiri will be my wife. I gave him her profile. More like, “God, you do not know this girl. No, you don’t. If you do, you will not say that is my wife. She is not even ministry material. She cannot even speak in tongues. She does not want to even marry a Pastor”. God must have laughed at my limited exposure to divine illumination.

He saw the future. He knew that I had a seed that will blossom in His hands. He knew he had given me a woman who can stand in the gap in prayers. He knew I had a woman who loves God and would give Him all no matter what. He knew what I did not know.

Never in your journey should you look at what eyes can see and ears hear and then draw a conclusion without the hearing of faith. There is the realm where you know by heaven’s profile. Some people loved the present without access to the future and the entire plan sank.

If you build by sight, you are building on sand. If you build by faith, you are building on the rock.

Your heart cry in dealing with men and situations should be, “Lord, can you give me a glimpse into your plans. Let my steps be ordered by your word. If it is just a minute to settling for less than you have prepared, unsettle me, Lord. Break my carnal desire and plant the seed of revelation in me”.

If by revelation, that woman knew that the famine would be over in less than 48 hours, she would never have agreed to the devilish suggestion of killing her son for lunch. There are things you agree to now simply because you have no revelation of what the future is like.

The Psalmist prayed, “Lord, give light to my eyes so I do not sleep the sleep of death”. Jesus told the disciples, “Blessed are your eyes because they see and your ears because they hear”.

From today, you operate by divine illumination in the name of Jesus. Amen.
