STAY IN JOY NO MATTER WHAT 1

On the 22nd of November, 2008, our whole family ran into armed robbers on a trip from a family function. We were in two cars and a bus. As the robbers attacked, we heard gunshots from an approaching SUV. We were caught in between.

When the shooting was over, we ran into the bus and made attempts to flee. However, we had three wounded people. I had a little wound also. We carried the wounded. As the journey progressed, we burst into songs. The wounded joined the singing. Even at times, one of them led the songs. 

We drove for about two hours before we got to the capital city. What did God do? As we got into the hospital, it was as though God set up a machinery for us. The doctor that attended to us said, “I am the one in charge of the hospital in Government House. I did not know why I left my house to even come to this hospital. I just knew I came out. Now I know why. God sent me here”. He attended to all the wounded. Healing took a while, but God took charge.

Listen beloved, when you praise in the middle of what should bury you, heaven begins to set up a machinery that caters for what you need.

What do you need Heaven to put in place for you and your family this season? Begin to sing and praise the Lord.

He has done it before, and he can certainly do it again. Why? The Word of God shows us what God has done before and can do again.

I know you may have been wounded in a way this year but do not focus on the wound. The past months may have been a storm, but do not let it unsettle you. Get into the praise chamber. God will do mighty things this season for you. Amen.
