STAY IN JOY NO MATTER WHAT (5)
My mum is not someone who backs down from a challenge. She agreed to take care of that baby from a nursing mum during work hours even though she was visually impaired.
Another nursing mother walked up to her with the same request. Now the basis is, “Mummy, if you can take care of one, then you can take care of two.” What an interesting line of thought. Well, she took on the challenge of taking on another child.
But when babies become two, soon mischief will manifest. In the days of nappies, while she was attempting to change one of the babies, the other baby played a fast one. He picked up the removed nappy and began to spread the fragrance around the room. When mum tries to spot where, the baby sees it as hide and seek! What a day.
Remember, a crisis would make you back down or become a springboard- the decider is your response. If you react and become depressed, you will miss out on what God can do. If you choose joy, the situation can become a seed that births a great harvest.
She sat the two mums down and called for a meeting. The women were not ready to withdraw their children from mum. They loved the excellent care they got. They constantly return to cleanly bathed babies splashed generously with scented powder. It was quality delivery! They made a deal- they would employ an assistant that Mum would supervise while they both paid.
What was meant to breed discouragement began a new order. That’s how a woman whose chapter disability should have closed became an employer of one.
Joy is powerful. You can birth a new season if you do not lose your joy. Do not turn back when the battle becomes tough. Face it with joy.
Psalms 78:9 GW
[9] The men of Ephraim, well-equipped with bows ⌞and arrows⌟, turned ⌞and ran⌟ on the day of battle.
You are equipped with joy. When battle comes, unleash it and do not run from it. Rather than losing your joy, set your loose and see the wonders of God.
