THE BLESSING OF ALL
After our trainers gave us the instruction that we should look for land, we commenced a search. While searching, we went to ask for a piece of land that we saw. The owner said, “Pastor, that’s too small for what you intend. We have another one somewhere close by. Check it out and let me know if you would want that”. We checked it out. And yes we wanted it! It was bigger. We got something bigger as a gift.
Beloved, God is still in the business of doing great and mighty things that are beyond finding out. Your role in the journey must be complete obedience to instructions.
It is only walking in complete obedience that will lead to complete possession*. Let’s check out the life of Joshua and the nation of Israel:
As the Lord commanded Moses his servant, so did Moses command Joshua, and so did Joshua; he left nothing undone of ALL that the Lord commanded Moses (Joshua 11:15)
Joshua did not leave anything undone of the commandment of the Lord to Moses. What was the consequence of his full obedience?
So Joshua took all that land, the hills, and all the south country, and all the land of Goshen, and the valley, and the plain, and the mountain of Israel, and the valley of the same; (Joshua 11:16)
He took ALL the Land and Hills.
He took ALL the south country.
He took ALL the land of Goshen
He took ALL the valley and mountains.
And it did not stop there:
And the Lord gave unto Israel ALL the land which he sware to give unto their fathers, and they possessed it and dwelt therein. And the Lord gave them rest round about, according to ALL that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of ALL their enemies before them; the Lord delivered ALL their enemies into their hand. There failed not ought of any good thing which the Lord had spoken unto the house of Israel; ALL came to pass.
Joshua 21:43 – 45 KJV
You cannot modify divine instructions to suit your fleshly convenience and expect to walk into the fullness of divine blessings. No!
What has the Lord told you to do?
Are you obeying fully?
Are you modifying the instructions of the Lord?
Lord, help me to walk in complete obedience to your instructions. Would you pray?
