HOW TO SECURE DIVINE GUIDANCE (5)
We have an annual gathering of Sons and Daughters of my spiritual parents. It is a retreat-like camp meeting. In 2023, while in camp, we received direction about the expansion of the ministry. It birthed the Ibadan work.
In 2024, after spending four months in Ibadan with no permanent space, we were back again at the retreat. We got instructions about what to give as we trusted for a property. Two weeks after, I was returning from a personal retreat when God showed us the place we are using now. It could only have been God. The mark of favour was on us.
One of the ways you receive divine guidance is by setting time aside to retreat. Have a time you set apart to seek the Lord.
Have an annual retreat plan. Seek the face of the Lord for an extended period other than your daily meditation time. Thank God for the year and get directions for the new year.
Have a monthly plan. Have between a day to three days dedicated to the Lord every month to seek the face of the Lord. If there are no fresh enquiries, use it for thanksgiving and you will see angels take over your affairs.
The Prophet Habakkuk mentioned that this is a pattern by which we access vision and instructions from the Lord.
First, you must set yourself apart to seek His face and know His will. You have to keep that watch.
Habakkuk 2:1 KJV
I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
When you seek the Lord, the Lord answers you. When you draw near to Him, He also draws near to you.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 KJV
And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. [3] For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Men who retreat always return with instructions and make moves with precision. Men who do not seem to gamble with life. If you need direction, set aside a time to seek the Lord.
When there is pressure all around, call a time out and press in on the Lord before you rush to attend to the pressing needs. David practiced going to the stronghold to seek the Lord before fighting the Philistines. He won both battles. Do not gamble. Press in to know His will.

Good morning all. I just got a dose of my atomic habit. It is tasteful, no doubt. I pray for our pastors that God will expand the mission of the vision in Jesus name. Best wishes.
