HOW TO SECURE DIVINE GUIDANCE (4)

In 2021, the Lord instructed that we should spend about four hours every Monday praying as a church. We called it the “Prayer Stretch”. It was a huge one for us. We obeyed the Lord.

One such evening, I honestly did not know when the words dropped out of my mouth; I had said it before I realized it. I said to the church, “Thus says the Lord, this is the final year that you are using a rented property. For you shall be moving into your own land with your own building”. The deed was already done.

Amazingly, faith rose. We saw the supernatural hand of the Lord. By March 2022, we were indeed on our own property that the Lord built in seven months. It happened exactly like the Lord said.

One of the ways we secure divine guidance is to ensure that we are in the Spirit. The entire book of Revelation that gives great insight into the last days was received because Apostle John was in the Spirit.

Revelation 1:10-11 NKJV
[10] I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, [11] saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

It was ordained by the enemy to be a season of persecution, but by the Spirit of the Lord and the alignment of Apostle John, it became a season of revelation. A season of pain became a beautiful time of productive engagement by the Spirit of the Lord.

Beloved, cultivate an atmosphere that can secure divine guidance. Build an atmosphere around your life that makes it easy for the Lord to get to you. Lower the noise. Deal with the distractions.

The Plasmist made this a practice:

Psalms 27:4-5 MSG
I’m asking God for one thing, only one thing: To live with him in his house my whole life long. I’ll contemplate his beauty; I’ll study at his feet. That’s the only quiet, secure place in a noisy world. It’s the perfect getaway, far from the buzz of traffic.

Remember that the Lord is Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. There is so much noise in our days. Beloved, build a system around you that keeps you in tune with the Lord. Invest in building and preserving that presence. Never disregard it.

Remember when Jesus taught us to pray, he told us to “Hallow” the name of the Father. It’s a prerequisite to seeing his kingdom.

Do you regard His presence, or for you, anything goes?
