PROPHECIES ARE FOR APPOINTED TIME

I was on my way from class in Law School, I heard the Lord say to me about two of my friends:

“My children are meant for one another. They will deliver a message of hope to your generation”.

I was shocked. I knew the lady was in a relationship albeit with one or two issues. I knew it could be worked on. I was even praying for her. That day, I knew that relationship was over but I never for once said anything to her or aided the prophecy to fulfilment. Today, my friends are married with children doing kingdom exploits.

One major understanding that you must have early is that prophecies are for appointed times. The fact that you see it now or hear it now or know it now does not mean it will happen now. Prophecies will still not boycott the process.

Do you know what God told Habakkuk about the vision? He said, “It is for an appointed time”

For the vision is yet for an appointed time, But at the end, it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
Habakkuk 2:3 NKJV

What do you do while you await the fulfilment of the prophecy? Worship, Work on your attitude, Invest in Growth initiatives, and push for training.

God has prepared a place or a person for you but the real work comes in preparing you for the place or the person.

Helping the prophetic is like pulling out a butterfly larvae from the shell. It may walk but it may end up not flying. Why? You helped it out before its time.

Some people feel disappointed that what God said has not come to pass but they used their impatience to hinder a divine plan.

For instance, if God tells you a lady is the woman to marry, that’s fine. Be patient. He did not say “Go and ask her out”. Wait for matching orders. Some brothers ran ahead of time and got a huge “No”.

Some sisters also may get to know that a brother is a husband ordained for them. Be patient. Do not be in a hurry. Let God who revealed it finish the work. Do not puncture divine moves with your impatience.
