THERE IS STILL HELP IN GOD
During one of our ministry projects, we trusted the Lord for some money. The deadline was in forty-eight hours. I asked the procurement team to get ready after we had prayed about it.
I still laid before the Lord that night, committing it all to him. I danced and praised him. The first miracle was that I woke up later to an alert of more than half of what was required. I danced and gave thanks.
The second miracle happened later in the morning, a dear sister sent a message asking to give a seed towards the project. She sent the exact balance.
Now this is the surprising part- some months later, I interacted with the two parties at different times that God used, mentioned the seed they sent (the specific amount), and prayed that the Lord blessed them. Guess what – both of them were surprised that they sent such money and one even said, “Pastor Temi, Me! Sent you that amount. I cannot remember. I cannot believe it.”
Well! I know there are angels.
Well! I know that there is the help of God.
I know that there is supernatural help.
I stopped doubting God. It was a surprise.
Settle it today that there is still divine help. God can help a man. I am not talking about lazy people who rely on handouts and hide under spirituality to advance mediocrity. God hates laziness. We were on a divinely commissioned project. We were stewarding God’s resources well. We were not wasteful.
Now that the foundation is laid, never despise the help of God. God still helps men. There are still angelic interventions. Where you have no one, the help of God can locate you. Build your faith in God. Do not be hopeless. There is help for you in God.
Just like in the days of the psalmist, a generation is saying that there is no help in God:
Many are they who say of me, “There is no help for him in God.” Selah
Psalms 3:2 NKJV
But what is our response?
But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.
Psalms 3:3 NKJV
If God does not help a man, men will forget him. If God does not favour a man, men cannot favour him. It is a favour to be remembered.
Give us help from trouble, For the help of man is useless.
Psalms 60:11 NKJV
Do you still believe in the help of God?
