AT THE SOUND OF YOUR VOICE!

My brother and I sat behind the house that day. Before we knew what was happening, a lady began to run towards our direction. She seems to have scampered out of a house down the street.

Our guess was that when the young man living in the house had the sound of his elder brother’s car, he had to send the girl out.

Humourous but this is the deal:

There is power in the sound of your voice. David understood the power of the voice. He said, “Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me. Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places” (2 Samuel 22:45‭-‬46 KJV)

It is an anomaly for a believer to be quiet in the face of contrary circumstances. Jesus mentioned that you must speak to the mountain and you will have what you say.

What have you been saying to your mountain? In this season, refuse to keep quiet. Your life will rise and fall to the level of your words.

If you do not want to see it in your life, call it out from its hiding place. If you want to see it, speak it into existence.

There is no time to waste with brooding and worrying. Those twins have refused to grow and they change nothing. Cut away from them.

Be immersed in prayer and the word. Dig up treasures. Find what the Word of God has said about the situation (including your responsibilities. For instance, your confession for financial increase must include the responsibility of not spending all you have). Declare it boldly.

Write it down. Let it settle into your subconscious. I stumbled on something I wrote in 2012 that we will have publications in ministry. Today, it is a reality yet I did not remember writing it.

Do not be quiet. At the sound of your voice, situations can be altered. Strange things are shaken out of place.

Stop cowering in fear. Stop bending under the burden. Your voice is powerful. Activate it by the Word. Launch it in prayers. It still works.

When you start speaking, you will initially look or sound stupid but when the flood comes, you would have succeeded in building an ark that will not sink.

You will have what you say!
