BE FREE FROM THE TRAP OF “STRANGE MEN”

A “prophet” told Irewamiri that she was going to get pregnant before marriage. If it happens, she should not be afraid. Irewamiri had a good moment laughing in her heart. She knew that could never happen. Why? We knew we were never going to drop the standard.

First, the standard of God has not changed. You can change the name of fornication to premarital sex, hook-up, or whatever fancy name the world gives it, you cannot change the standard of God.

God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin. Then each of you will control his own body and live in holiness and honor— not in lustful passion like the pagans who do not know God and his ways.
1 Thessalonians 4:3‭-‬5 NLT

Second, you need to understand this: Doctrine regulates character. If you listen to “teachers” who excuse sin, you can never live above sin. You will excuse sin.

Nevertheless, I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
Revelation 2:20 NKJV

Men are seduced by teachings. Once seduced, they begin to commit immorality.
Any teaching or prophecy that has no foundation in the fear of the Lord will lead your soul astray.

Third, one major way that the devil has entered into the life of a man is through character failure. Character failure operates like the proverbial man whose enemies seek to roast him alive yet he keeps rubbing petrol on his body. He has made their work easier.

If you will be free from strange prophets and their prophecies:

Be rooted in the Word of the Lord. You cannot afford to be ignorant of the Word of the Lord. Can the prophecy be backed up by scriptures? Is there a witness in your spirit man by the Holy Spirit living in you? Does the prophecy promote the Lordship of Jesus or it is just a salutation and exaltation of the flesh?

Also, build a solid character. If a “prophet” tells you that you need a second wife to secure your wealth, you would never do it when you know the Word of God, have the fear of the Lord and have no desire in the flesh already for wild flames. If you are seeking convenient options, the devil will offer you cheaper alternatives in destiny that have expensive repercussions. The price of compromise is always the soul of a man. Your soul is the highest commodity on the earth.

Finally, be rooted in a Bible-believing and practicing church where the word of God and prayer are foundational. If you jump from church to church and from mountain to mountain, you will end up opening your life, marriage, and family to “strange men”, ” sharp practices, and seducing spirits.
