EQUIPPING BEFORE APPEARANCE
I needed help with clearing the weeds in the compound. For weeks, I tried reaching out to a young man who helps me regularly. When I eventually saw him, he explained to me that the reason he had not come was that he had no tools. His cutlass got spoilt on his last job. He promised to show up once he has gotten it fixed.
Beloved, you must not show up in the place of assignment without going through all the necessary preparations. If you faint while running a vision, we must check whether you passed while you were waiting.
One of the places of your equipping is the Local Church and the assignment of the Pastor and all others are to equip men for the works of ministry.
When Solomon was building the temple, the stones that were used on site were shaped at the quarry.
And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.
1 Kings 6:7 KJV
Did you notice these words- ‘Made Ready before it was brought’? Ensure that you do not fail the processes that will make you and get you ready.
If you fail the processes that will make you ready, even if you are brought to the place of assignment and manifestation, you will not be useful.
The options will be two- The unprepared stone is discarded on-site or sent back to the quarry for shaping.
You can choose where you will be in the three categories of people on the journey of life:
First, people who submit to processes and the dealings of God for their life.
Second, people who boycott process and are now discarded at site. There is no other chance.
Third, people who will be sent back to the place of shaping.
Do not boycott divine processes. Do not rush ahead of your time. Do not operate lesser than God’s plan for you. Do not settle for what is convenient because shaping seems to be tough.
If you miss the workshop, you must not expect to have a place in the showroom.
