HOW TO GET ACCESS 3: (THE POWER OF COMPETENCE)

A dear sister of mine narrated how she got a call from the White House. She laughed and thought it was a scam. They had to use other means to reach her eventually. Her competence earned her a seat with the President of the most powerful nation on earth.

Competence has a voice and it speaks loud. If you are praying for open doors to palaces, make sure you are also building competence behind the scene. A lot of people who pray for open doors have not honed their skills.

Let us see examples of the requirement from palaces:

In the days of Daniel and the three Hebrew boys who ended up as top officials in Babylon, there was a published requirement.

“They were to be young men who were healthy, good-looking, knowledgeable in all subjects, well-informed, intelligent, and able to serve in the king’s palace. They were to be taught the language and literature of the Babylonians.”

Can you see areas to work to become attractive to kings: Are you strong and healthy? How good do you look or you belong to the “I don’t care” gang or the female version of “Who is looking at me?”, How many subjects can you take on confidently? Are you aware of global developments?

Maybe the standard there was too high, let’s see what was said of David when Saul had a vacancy in the palace staff that must be filled- His Personal Assistant of Emotional Restoration.

Wait- What is one thing that you are good at and you can do well? Do you talk like the palace or you just speak anyhow?

Some people are just like, “Introduce me and let me meet that person”. When you are introduced, would you be able to deliver competently? Or will you just leave with a selfie for Social Media?

Joseph was introduced to Pharaoh because he was competent and he sure can deliver. Asides, he also would not appear just anyhow.

That customer you treated badly can be twenty referrals lost. Develop competence. Pray. Build your competence also.

Do you see a person who is efficient in his work? He will serve kings. He will not serve unknown people.
