SHAKING TO CREATE ROOM

I was refilling the container for milk when I realised that it was already full and there was still some milk left in the pack. I had to shake the container to create more room. When I did, I could fill in more- it actually took everything in the pack.

Whenever you go through shaking and what can be called unsettling times as a believer, take a deep breath and tell yourself, “God is creating room for me”.

Shaking precedes filling. Shaking precedes more. The prophet Haggai puts it this way:

I will shake all the nations, and the one whom all the nations desire will come. Then I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of Armies.
Haggai 2:7 GW

The filling and the glory will not come until there is a shaking.

Do not be afraid of tough times- the shaking is not to destroy you. The shaking is to promote and increase you.

When the shaking is going on, unbelievers and carnal minds will get worried saying, “There is a casting down”. But the believing worshipper will smile and say, “There is a lifting up”.

The church must never be scared of what the world is scared of. The believer must never be afraid of the things that scare the unbeliever.

Shaking does not sink sons and daughters of the Kingdom; it lifts them.

When there was a shaking in Babylon, the wise men of Nebuchadnezzar lost their jobs, homes and their lives, Daniel and his friends got new status and huge bonuses.

When there is a shaking, let it be settled that your reality is different. God is making room for you. You are not the hopeless one. Start singing. Start dancing. Shaking means good news is close!
