STOP LOOKING OUTSIDE…!

For a long time, whenever we wanted to confirm if there was power supply, we would have to look at the house nearby. Many times, there would have been supply but we would still be running our generator and burning fuel.

All that changed when a beloved one installed a device that indicates when there is power supply in our house. From that day, we stopped looking outside.

Spiritual guidance is also like that- as long as you have no light within you, you will be led by the external things you see and you hear.

A man who has no Spirit of the Lord would be tossed to and fro by the spirit of the world.

A believer who lacks a solid awareness of the leading of the Holy Spirit will be dragged here and there by fake prophecies until confusion sets in.

The Prophet Jeremiah warned about false prophets and their prophecies: they lift up hopes in futility, they make up things they say and they definitely are not speaking for the Lord. (Jer. 23:16)

How do you get light within?

First, salvation brings you light. When a man becomes born again, he is called out of darkness into light. The light of God is activated within him.

Second, the Word of God is a source of light. The Psalmist said God’s Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

Beloved, you will not be confused when there is light within you. You will know what to do. You will know who to marry. You will know where to live. You will know what to accept and reject.

The Spirit of God can lead you into all truth. Every son of God is led by the Spirit of the Lord.
