THINGS YOU CARRY BUT YOU DO NOT KNOW

About eight years ago, I was preaching in the city of Calabar. I heard the choir take a song that I fell in love with- “Your presence is like Heaven to me”. I wish I had the song, but it lodged in my spirit that day. They sang just before I ministered that night.

Shockingly, while praying early the next morning in my hotel room, I was playing music from my phone. The same song began to play. I was shocked. I had the song all this while on my phone, but it took a meeting to make me realise that I had it. I am certain it must have played before, but I did not pay attention to it.

The questions today for you are:

What do you carry?

What have you been bestowed with that you are not paying attention to?

Are you in the right place and company that will unlock the grace and gifts of God you carry within you?

First, you are a bundle of God’s grace and possibilities. Whether you believe it or not, God has invested so much in you. You are carrying enough to be a blessing at least to your generation. You are a seed that can bless the nations and the generation you are a part of. You are carrying a great treasure!

We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that this immeasurable power will be seen as God’s, not ours.

2 Corinthians 4:7 TPT

Second, you must pay attention to the deposits of God in your life. The devil is still out there looking for what to steal and who to kill and destroy. He will use all sorts of things to distract and derail a man. You must maintain brutal focus. The devil can join a man early in life just to ensure that he adds things to his life that make him limited or useless by the time the demand of destiny beckons. Do not let him introduce you to mixtures that corrupt your journey.

Those who sing nonsense today in our generation are corrupted versions of God’s intention for them. What is meant to bless a generation has become the battles of that generation- gifted men have become corrupted and have corrupted others!

Finally, do you know there is a company that you get into that unlocks the potential you carry? A company with three beloved ones unlocked the gifts and callings of God upon my life in my days at the University. I saw them love God genuinely and stir many into righteousness. I saw them pray for hours. It unlocked gifts and graces in me.

There is an Antioch you get to that opens up the missions of God for you. There is a company you get into that men begin to ask whether King Saul is also a son of the prophet.

The earlier you find the right company, the better. Why? The enemy wants to recruit you to corrupt the same generation you should have been a blessing to.
