“UNCLE, CAN YOU EXCUSE ME? I WANT TO DRESS UP”

“UNCLE, CAN YOU EXCUSE ME? I WANT TO DRESS UP”

My little niece was 4 years old then. I was having a chat with her mum and elder sister when she stepped out of the bathroom. She had a towel around her little body.
Once she stepped into the room and saw me (I had not even noticed her presence), she said with her four-year voice but with the confidence of an adult, “Uncle Temi, can you please excuse me. I want to dress up”.

The three of us went quiet. Shocked at her confidence. Amazed at her words but I still had to give her the space she needed without arguments.

Now, It is amazing how folks would have been in Christ for 5 years and more yet cannot take their place of authority over the devil and his cohort of defeated demons.

It is amazing how folks will still run from pillar to post seeking “prophetic” intervention and end up as “guinea pigs” to fakes.

Listen, once you are in Christ, you are a part of His body. Christ is the Head. The body enjoys what the head enjoys. The body sits where the head sits. Christ and yourself sit far above principalities and powers. You have authority in Christ.

You can take your place even if all you have is the voice of a 4-year-old. All you need is the knowledge of your authority. Nothing can withstand you.
