WHAT WAS ASKED THAT YOU GAVE THE WRONG ANSWER TO? (The Law of Precision)

My spiritual father once asked me in the early days of ministry “Which church is making the highest impact when it comes to young people in the land of Eruwa?” While I attempted to answer the question, he corrected me because I was answering with a poor self-image underrating the work we do in ministry in Eruwa. His answer gave me direction.

When the right answer is given when questions are asked, it can open a door to greater, deeper and better things.

For instance, Jesus spotted two disciples of John following him. He turned and asked them, “What do you want?” They replied with a question, “Where do you dwell?”

The answer is quite interesting- What we want is where you dwell. As casual as it seems, it speaks volumes. It could mean where Jesus lived but much more today, it could mean that we want to be at the centre of divine will.

So when the Lord is asking you today what you desire- the finest answer would be that “Lord I want to be where you are. I want to be right in the centre of your will”

Knowing where the Lord Jesus stays changed the lives of those two disciples forever. Knowing what the will of God is and remaining in the centre of God’s will also change our lives forever.

The compass of your life must be taken from the centre of divine will. Once you know divine will and you are willing to stay with and in God’s will, be rest assured that it is an anchor that does not fail in the storms of life.

Marriages fail when the divine will is not acknowledged. The flight will struggle when the Captain decides to ignore the instructions of the control tower. Whatever flies has a connection to something that is strongly rooted.

Paul says to us:

Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:17 NKJV

The summary of the whole matter is this: It is wisdom to know and understand the will of God. That is how we operate with precision.
