WHEN THE TEACHERS CHANGED
In my second year in the University as an undergraduate, there is a course that it was widely reported that the lecturer in charge was not generous with good grades.
The lecturer actually taught us the first semester and the results were not too friendly. However, by the second semester, the lecturer was swapped for another person.
First, the course did not sound as hard as it was before. Second, our results were amazing. It almost felt like someone was running a bonanza.
Beloved, you have a new teacher also by reason of redemption- his name is the Holy Spirit.
“But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.”
John 14:26 NLT
How do you relate with this teacher? Through the fear of the Lord. Your best in life comes when you are in alignment and agreement with the Spirit of the Lord.
“Who are those who fear the Lord ? He will show them the path they should choose. They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the land.”
Psalms 25:12-13 NLT
One thing you must never do in relating with the Holy Spirit is defeating His suggestions with what you call better ideas. If you do, you will lose ultimately.
When the Holy Spirit whispers to you about your wardrobe, do not argue that you love what you have. Change it.
When the Spirit of the Lord whispers to you about your character, do not argue. Work on yourself. He is delivering you from pending troubles.
Your grades in life will be better if you listen to your new teacher. Interestingly, even though our teacher changed, some people still failed. Why? They did not do what the teacher wanted.
While some rejoice about feats that they have accomplished by the Spirit, some are still dragging their feet in disobedience.
Which are you?
