YOUR HEART, HONORARIUM and HIS MAJESTY

I had a week of multiple preaching engagements. Asides from the honorarium from speaking, I had people who blessed me with seeds. I was super excited that some of the things I needed to get done urgently will be fixed.

Then comes the Lord in His majesty. One after the other, the bulk of the money went as seed in various directions as instructed by the Lord. It was tough because I had things I desired to settle.

If your heart is not sold out to God, do not get on the journey of Ministry. The Lord will shake every iota of materialism from a man that He will use.

You will be crying and obeying knowing that it is the Lord that can place such a demand on you. There are times you would carry savings of months and give it away as a sacrifice instructed by the Lord.

Abraham knew that Isaac was not just an answer to prayers. Isaac was also a test of Abraham’s faithfulness. There will be times you will be rejoicing that the Lord has done it and right in the middle of your jumps, you will hear the Lord say, “Give it to so and so”.

There are times that I also failed him but your heart must always be sold out to the majesty of His glory alone. Do not negotiate your way out of His instructions. Obey Him. There is an unusual joy that comes with obedience. God is the God of increase. He will breathe upon what you have.

As you journey this season, it is good to have a plan for personal and family security. God wants you to. It is also important to have a plan for complete obedience. Tell God that there is nothing that is yours that he cannot have. Tell God that you will hold back nothing. Tell God that you will not hold back even yourself. He can have it all. God will surely honour you.

But now the Lord says: ‘Far be it from Me; for those who honour Me I will honour, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.
I Samuel 2:30 NKJV

He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.
Psalms 126:6 NKJV
