THERE IS A TIME TO RESPOND (2): GO AND LOOK FOR LAND

We were visiting with our dear teachers. They asked, “Does the ministry have any landed property yet?” We replied in the negative. They said to us, “Once you get back, go and look for land”.

We returned and commenced a search immediately. We did not just get land in a choice location; we actually got it as a gift.

Friends, there is a timing to divine things. The preacher in Ecclesiastes stated that:

“There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven”
ECCLESIASTES 3:1 AMP

You must understand that there is a time that you must respond to divine things. Favour is tied to proper timing. You may get a “No” simply because you asked at the wrong time.

Proper timing is a strategy of war also. Move when the Spirit of God is moving. David was in a battle against the Philistines. Hear the instruction of the Lord:

And again David asked the Lord what to do. “Do not attack them straight on,” the Lord replied. “Instead, circle around behind and attack them near the poplar trees. When you hear a sound like marching feet in the tops of the poplar trees, be on the alert! That will be the signal that the Lord is moving ahead of you to strike down the Philistine army.” So David did what the Lord commanded, and he struck down the Philistines all the way from Gibeon to Gezer. 2 Samuel 5:23‭-‬25 NLT

You must be sensitive to hear. When you hear, then you move. That is the signal that God has gone ahead of you. Respond promptly. Instruction can come through the mouth of your Pastor or in the midst of your personal devotion or even in a seemingly casual moment. Go for it.

There is a time to respond. May you not miss the season of God for you. Amen.
